1. rowan hates his car seat now. after two 14 hour trips last week, he is done with car rides.
2. rowan is a happy baby. now that we have his tummy issues figured out, he smiles a lot more, sleeps better, and cries less...and mommy cries less too :)
3. rowan is sleeping 7 pm to 7 am and only gets up once (most nights). every once in a while he will sleep through the night.
4. rowan is almost 4 months old now.
in the past week we (1) drove to la junta to have an early thanksgiving, (2) drove back to la junta to celebrate the life of my wonderful, perfect grandma eddie, (3) rob shot video with nelson and dan for three days, (4) i painted the kitchen, (5) and now my brother matt is in town for thanksgiving. it will be a long weekend of climbing, biking, shopping, cooking, eating, and naps (my favorite!).

i painted the kitchen while rob shot with nelson and dan. rowan's room is next. i picked out a nice gray that will go well with the white furniture.
i ran the turkey trot while rowan watched with uncle matt and rob.
